The Marketing Manager - Pet Owner (MMPO) is responsible for the development and execution of all pet owner-focused short and long-term marketing programs for Vetsource products and services. The MMPO is a critical role in the evolution of the marketing team, as this person will act as the primary driver of how we help our customers, the veterinary practices, market their Home Delivery service to their clients.
This position’s responsibilities will include defining the competitive landscape, product positioning/messaging, market intelligence, pet owner experience, campaigns, and activities driving awareness, interest, and sales opportunities.
The person in this role is a strong leader, skilled at building collaborative relationships to strengthen audience engagement in ways that advance Vetsource’s mission, marketing & business goals. The MMPO collaborates in setting the strategy, channel coverage and key performance indicators (KPIs) in concert with insights, content strategy and business stakeholders. This person is the advocate for the pet owner’s experience throughout their engagement with Vetsource’s products and services including but not limited to their web experience through our customer’s shopping sites, their customer care experience via all communication channels, their order and purchase experience through the pharmacy and overall satisfaction with interactions with the Vetsource brand.
As the only industry-endorsed Home Delivery pharmacy provider, we source quality medications, over-the-counter health care products and pet foods directly from the manufacturers and ship them right to clients’ front doors. Our team of licensed pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are here to provide veterinarians with an unparalleled level of expertise. And our double-patented, mobile-optimized ScriptRight® ePrescribing tool allows doctors to write, review and approve prescriptions from any web-enabled device — even out in the field.

The position is based in Portland, Oregon. As much as 15 percent travel could be required. The Vetsource offices are dog friendly work spaces.
