  • Overview

    The Hospital Trainer is responsible for all trainings of Vetsource partner practices as well as providing backup to the Sales Team for prospecting demonstrations. The trainer is responsible for educating all hospitals consistently and comprehensively according to guidelines outlined by management.   Qualified candidates would be able to work very independently, having a flexible schedule and being extremely involved with management to shape ongoing instructional protocols.

    Responsibilities

    • Conducting live and web based training seminars of Vetsource solutions to newly enrolled hospitals
    • Documenting Training session recaps
    • Disseminating post session email instructions to clinic
    • Working with management to develop and maintain consistent and current instructional materials
    • Maintaining an intimate knowledge of all Vetsource solutions and being able to effectively communicate their value proposition both verbally and in written communication
    • Cultivating positive customer relationships with every interaction
    • Other duties as assigned

    • Excellent computer skills are required; experience using email, instant message, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, as well as the ability to learn how to navigate unfamiliar systems or programs quickly
    • Ability to use multiple computer programs at once
    • Attention to detail and accurate data entry in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to receive constructive criticism in a professional manner
    • Must be able to make sound judgement decisions and know when to ask their manager for assistance

    Education/Experience: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree or other advanced certification in Animal Science, Business Administration, Certified Veterinary Practice Manager or Certified Veterinary Technician preferred; or related work exerience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Veterinary experience a plus
    • Minimum 1 year sales experience in a call center environment
    • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM

    Working Conditions:

    • Environment where dogs are present
    • Call center environment
    • Long periods of time sitting at a computer
